Photography for Political Campaign
Photography for political campaign for a run a county commissioner. The brief was to create a number of environmental candids with the subject interacting with constituents. Then to shoot the couple around their house, and finally setting up a portable studio for headshots.
Always interesting meeting and working with politicians. The day started out with fog and it slowly burned off. This politician is running for local office at the county level. The brief was to start the day shooting candid interactions with constituents in and around the City of Smyrna. Then set up a portable studio at the subject's house and do studio shots with strobe lighting. My goal with the candids while shooting was to have flattering lighting that did not look artificially lit. I added a slight color grade to the candids to give them a more filmic feel. Hoping the best for our subject's run at county commissioner!
Lawyers Website Photography
This project was for a group of 3 lawyers who practice together in similiar areas of the law. The brief was to do environmental headshots and headshots on a gray background along with a "hero" shot of the 3 of them. We were given a very cloudy day but I like the mood of the environmental shots which really became "window view" shots.

Legare, Attwood, and Wolfe were looking to update thier headshots to something more contemporary that wasn't a plain gray background. They are located in the city of Decatur. Easy walking distance to the old Decatur City Courthouse. On set with me that day were make-up and hair artists extraordinaires Faith Brooks and David Hamblen who also did onset grooming. It's always going to be a great day with David and Faith on set!
